Public Speaking Teacher Job Opening

Position: Public Speaking Class Teacher
Cary Chinese School is seeking a teacher to teach a "Public Speaking and Leadership" class for students ages 10-17.

• This is a part-time position
• Class time (1 hour): 11:00 am - 11:50 am on Saturdays from September 2018 to June 2019.
• Hourly rate compatible to market price, with a bonus at the end of semester upon performance.

Experience and Skills Required:

• Bachelor degree or higher.
• Active member of Toastmasters International.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in Toastmasters officer positions preferred.
• Experience in teaching preferred.

Main Responsibilities:

• Teach "Public Speaking and Leadership" class for students ages 10-17 on Saturdays from September 2018 to June 2019.
• Prepare the class instructions based on the class curriculum and lesson plans.
• Communicate with parents about students/class progress and student homework assignment.
• Maintain effective and timely communications with program directors regarding the class and students' progress
• Follow CCS policies and rules.
