Teachers may ask parents to sign up and serve as a room parent to assist in the classroom. During the school year, each parent can serve once or a few times as room parent, depending on the size of the class. Serving as a room parent provides opportunity for parents to set a good example for the students and get better understanding of the learning environment, therefore parents will be better prepared to support your own children to succeed at school. Usher students to get settled and ready for class.
