SAT Prep (Online)

SAT English class teaches students about topics tested on the reading and writing portions of the SAT. Students develop the knowledge and skills they need to succeed on the reading and writing portions of the SAT through lectures, examples, and practice problems. Topics covered include but are not limited to: reading comprehension, grammar and syntax rules, and frequently made mistakes & how to avoid them.
SAT Math class is designed for the math portion of the SAT test. Each topic that will potentially be tested is covered in this class. During class, students will learn and practice math topics in an engaging class environment. We focus on Algebra first semester and Geometry as well as other special topics during second semester. There will be homework every week, which is graded and passed back the next class for feedback and corrections. At the end of the year, every student shall be
equipped with sufficient knowledge and skills for the math portion of the SAT test.

Welcome! I’m Jessica, the SAT Math and English teacher for this school year. Our class goal is to instruct any student, whether they're in 8th or 10th grade, on how to boost their SAT scores. In the first semester, we’ll focus on understanding the test format and the different types of questions found on the exam. The second semester will be dedicated to practice exams and review. I’m looking forward to this year!
