Description 简介 This class is designed for the math portion of the SAT test. Each topic that will potentially be tested is covered in this class. During class, students will learn and practice math topics in an engaging class environment. We focus on Algebra first semester and Geometry as well as other special topics during second semester. There will be homework every week, which is graded and passed back the next class for feedback and corrections. At the end of the year, every student shall be equipped with sufficient knowledge and skills for the math portion of the SAT test.

Textbook 教材 None required. Any SAT math prep book can be used for outside practice.

Teacher ⽼师 Hannah Shaw
Teacher Introduction ⽼师简介 Hannah Shaw is currently a junior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a merit scholarship. She has obtained a score of 800 on the the math section for the SAT and the SAT Subject Math II test, and previously taught SAT Math at CCS for two years during high school. Hannah is passionate about helping others and sharing her appreciation of math with others. She hopes that students in her class will gain greater understanding and confidence in dealing with math topics.
