Nondiscrimination
Cary Chinese School (CCS) is a nonprofit educational organization. CCS promotes Chinese language literacy and culture to enrich cultural diversity in our community. CCS does not discriminate based on race, color, nationality and ethnic origin as part of its programs, policies and admission process.
Admission
Students must meet one of the following requirements to be eligible for admission:
If a student wishes to enter a class that is at full capacity, a child's name can be put on a waiting list. Students will be admitted from the waiting list on a first-come first-serve basis.
School Calendar
A typical school year runs from late August or early September until May or June. There is a fall and spring semester. CCS follows Wake County’s Traditional-calendar schools schedule with some modification. The total number of classes each year may vary based on the availability of the facility and the staff.
Tuition and Fees
School tuition will be determined by the Board of Trustees on an annual basis. The tuition covers teachers' compensation and school operating costs. There may be additional fees required as part of the class, including registration and textbooks. The tuition and fees are due in full at the time of registration. Fees are non-refundable.
Withdrawal and Refund
On-Site Class and virtual class:
The maximum class size follows North Carolina state law. CCS reserves the right to cancel any class if the enrollment number does not meet a minimum requirement. All students of a canceled class will be reassigned or issued refund for the unused portion of their tuition.

- At least 4-years old on or before August 31 for the Fall semester of the school year.
- Passed an interview with one of the school’s Program Directors and performed well in a trial class.

- If a student withdraws from an on-site or virtual class within the first two weeks, 80% of their tuition can be refunded.
- No refund will be made if a student withdraws after 0:00 on the 2nd Sunday of the school semester or if a student is expelled from the school.
- If a student withdraws from an off-site activity class and the vacant spot can be refilled before the 2nd Sunday of the semester, the unused portion of their tuition can be refunded.
- No refund will be made if the vacant spot can not be refilled before the 2nd Sunday of the semester.
- No refund will be made if a student withdraws after the 2nd Sunday of the semester or if a student is expelled from the school.

CCS退课退款规定
（一）校内课及网课的退课退款规定：
（二）校外活动课的退课退款规定：
- 注册系统关闭之前，家长可以自行在网上系统里退课。注册系统关闭之后，家长可以发邮件到 [email protected] 申请退课，由教务长处理。
- 学校开学两周之内退课，退款额为80%学费。注册费不退。
- 开学第二次课后的周日之后，家长可以发邮件申请退课，但无任何退款。
- 学校在开学第四次课后开始安排退款。
（二）校外活动课的退课退款规定：
- 开学第二次课后的周日之前，家长可以发邮件到 [email protected] 申请退课。校外课如果退下的名额有别人及时补上，学校可以安排退款（退款额为学费减去已开课的费用），如果没人补上，学校将不安排任何退款。
- 开学第二次课后的周日之后，家长可以发邮件申请退课，但校外课一律不予退款。
