1-5-2019

春季学期开始。
学费1月5日到期，请带支票到学校大厅，注明孩子姓名和班级。
请到学校网站登录网上注册系统，查看学生的课程和需要缴纳的费用。
如需更换或加课，请尽快发email 给 [email protected]。
春季的新课包括：乒乓、网球、声乐、成人形体课。

Spring semester starts on January 5th, 2019.
Spring Tuition is due on January 5th. Bring a check to school lobby, write down student name/class on the check.
Please go to school website and log in to the online registration system to check for assigned classes and fees.
If you need to make change to class registration, please email to [email protected]g as soon as possible.
Here are the new classes for the Spring semester: Table Tennis, Tennis, Voice, and Adult Body Shaping.

1-5-2019
中文之星比赛截止。由PTA举办的全校一年一度中文之星比赛又将开始。举办比赛的目的是鼓励学生写汉字，增强中文口头和书面表达能力，以及展示他们的绘画能力。比赛分为写字、说中文、作文和绘画四类。作品提交截止日期是2019年1月5日。2月10日春节联欢会上颁奖。请家长、老师鼓励孩子们积极参与！各类比赛具体要求请点击以下链接：http://www.carycs.org/ccs-star-contests.html

CCS Star Contest deadline. Each year there are 4 different CCS Star Contests. The purpose of organizing those competitions is to encourage students to write Chinese characters, exercise their Chinese speaking abilities, and draw the most beautiful paintings with the brushes. All participants must turn in your work by January 5, 2019. Awards will be given at the Chinese New Year's Gala on February 10, 2019. We encourage each student to participate all contests. For parents, please help your children to join the contests and enjoy the fun!!! Each participant submits one piece of work ONLY for each contest category. 1-19-2019
1月19日还未付清学费的家庭将另加上$25迟交费。
If tuition is not paid in full, a $25 Late fee will be added after January 19, 2019.

2-2-2019
这一天我们要上课，补上9/15因天气原因取消的课程。
We will have school on this date as a makeup for the cancelled class on 9/15.

2-10-2019
春节联欢会订在2/10周日下午举行。请大家安排好时间出席。具体细节稍后通知。
Chinese New Year's Gala is scheduled on February 10th Sunday afternoon. Please arrange time to participate. More details will be announced later.

6-8-2019
学年结束全校将举行野营活动，地点在Jordan Lake。具体细节稍后通知。
School year end overnight camping is scheduled on June 8th at Jordan lake. More details will be announced later.

为了方便学校与家长的交流，我们提供以下几种方式：

学校大事小事，新闻部每周都会发通讯。以前没有收到的家长，首先需要查一下是否在垃圾邮件中了。您可以将news@carycs.org加入通讯录中。在网站上可以sign up for newsletter： http://www.carycs.org/sign-ccs-newsletter
随时去网站可以看到学校各类信息，包括家长执勤制度排表：http://www.carycs.org/parent-volunteer-schedule
学校有中文和英文的微信群，实时发布消息。还没有加入学校群的家长，可以托熟人拉进群，或者到学校大厅找工作人员帮忙拉进群。
学校要求班级老师每周都有邮件发给家长，如果没收到:

Our School Newsletter goes out every week in email. If you have not received newsletter from school, look into the junk folder first to make sure it's not there. You can also add news@carycs.org to your contact list. You may sign up for newsletter at school website: http://www.carycs.org/sign-ccs-newsletter

Our School has WeChat groups in both Chinese and English, allowing real-time communication. If you have not joined the WeChat group, please ask other parents, or ask school staff in the lobby to help.
Your class teacher should send out weekly email updates to parents. If you have not received emails from your teacher, reach out to these Directors:
