The Myopia Epidemic

• Myopia (nearsightedness) is increasing in prevalence at an alarming rate.
• By the year 2050, HALF OF THE ENTIRE PLANET will be nearsighted. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) now view myopia as an epidemic.
• Children who are nearsighted become more nearsighted over time until about age twenty.
