Learn to design, build and program robots! Participate in various challenges through out the class.
Three fantastic levels available: 1. LEGO® Education WeDo: Preschool and Kindergarten LEGO® Education WeDo is a fantastic, simple-to-use cross-curricular tool thatenables students to learn, construct and then bring their models to life using intuitive drag-and-drop software. An ideal product for teaching in different subjects at primary levels, it can be applied to language and literacy, math and various engineering, design and technology-based subjects. At the same time students will develop and improve different communication, collaboration and team-building skills.
2. Entry Level: Age 5-8
3. Intermediate/Pre-FLL: Age 9 -14 In the Intermediate/Pre-FLL class, students will explore the programming side of the robots that have been building; and maybe about mid term, students will start using some of the Pre-FLL projects. Kids who're not interested in FLL can still come to the Intermediate class.
FLL Challenge (FIRST LEGO League ) consists of three parts: The Robot Game, the Project, and the FLL Core Values. Teams of up to 10 children, with one adult coach, participate in the Challenge by programming an autonomous robot to score points on a themed playing field (Robot Game), developing a solution to a problem they have identified (Project), all guided by the FLL Core Values.
