CSL Classes
CSL Pre-K
CSL pre-k level is for students that are 4 years old on or before Aug-31. Students will learn basic Chinese words and simple sentences along with fun activities. By learning the words that relevant to their everyday lives, and meaningful sentences structures, the students will be able to recognize and memorize colors, shapes, animals, fruits, family members and relatives in Chinese, as well as communicate with others in simple sentences. Class activities and games that are interwoven into the learning process makes learning fun and exciting.
CSL MeiZhou K
CSL K level is for students that are 5 years old on or before Aug-31. At this level, students will continue learning Chinese characters, phrases and sentences that used in daily life based on a communicative approach to build Chinese language
and culture skills in a spiral-up approach.
CSL MeiZhou 1
CSL level one students will start to learn pinyin. By the end of this book the students can master 111 Chinese characters, 171 phrases, and 18 sentences patterns. In addition, students can read the contents of each lesson in Mandarin and intimate the dialogues in daily life.
CSL MeiZhou 2
CSL level 2 is the extension of level one. Students will continue learning more Chinese characters, phrases as well as utilize the phrases and sentence patterns in daily life.
CSL MeiZhou 3
CSL level 3 is for 3 rd grade students as in public school. Series of "Go Chinese" book set will be used from this level. The book and CD-ROM include rhythmic chants, word games, quizzes, and Chinese typing exercises to improve students' listening, pronunciation, pinyin, and word recognition. More interactive activities are involved.

For CSL Level 4, students will:

Students in this class will learn approximately 190 vocabulary items. The emphasis of this level is on the acquisition of the four language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Students develop a base vocabulary and learn grammatical constructions needed for essential communication. They are also introduced to important aspects of the history and culture of the Chinese-speaking countries. Go! Chinese 300 learning set is used in class including a student textbook and a workbook. Rhythmic chants, songs, games, video clips, interviews, small-group discussions, projects are integrated with formal instructions to improve students’ listening, pronunciation, pinyin, and word recognition.

For CSL Level 4, students will:

- Learn to use the quantifiers
- Learn the adjectives and antonyms
- Learn the facial features
- Learn the usage of three meals and some question patterns
- Learn the traffic related phrases
- Learn colors and use of double words
- Learn the use of four seasons
- Learn the motherhood conception and the definition of happiness
- Learn the fatherhood conception
