FUN - Sports, games, Chinese culture, and indoor activities CONVENIENT - One stop at Panther Creek High School FLEXIBLE - Optional after-hour care between 4-5 pm DELICIOUS - Exquisite lunch served daily
Note:
All outdoor and indoor classes, except football, will be held at Panther Creek High School. Due to the schedule conflicts, the soccer classes will be held separately at Mills Park Middle School.
The indoor activity clubs are mainly led by high school volunteers. The summer camp students will be divided into groups to participate in different clubs on a weekly rotation basis.
Lunch plans are carefully prepared by the CCS logistics team to meet the needs of all students to the greatest extent possible.
Chinese Language and Culture focuses on the topics closely related to AP Chinese. The course designers will set weekly content according to different age groups of students. Ms. Janet Wang and Lin Song are responsible for course design.
Campers will be divided into classes according to the age group and interests of the students for the afternoon activity classes. There are three major themes every week and students can choose one from the three.
Some activity classes have two different levels. For example, the Performance class by Ms. Wei Zhou and the Color Pencil Drawing by Mr. Qifeng Wang are courses planned for two weeks. Without taking the Level I class, it is challenging for students to fit in Level II. Therefore, we strongly recommend registering for both Level I and II courses together upon registration.
The content of all courses is updated weekly, and the content will be different as well for courses with the same name.
Pre-K students are currently provided with a half-day option (9am-1pm) and their activities, different from K-8, are specially planned by the directors.
The payment deadline for Cary Chinese School 2022 Summer Camp is April 15th. Students who do not pay in time will be placed on the waiting list. If the number of students registered for that week is full, all students on the waiting list will not be able to participate in that week of the summer camp.
