Description 简介 This English writing course is designed for students in grades 3-4 who want to expand their vocabulary, improve their English writing and reading comprehension skills. Students will learn and practice grammar, reading comprehension, and various forms of creative and technical writing in accordance with Common Core’s 3rd-4th grade language standards. This course will focus on providing students with essential writing and grammar skills needed to foster their individual writing styles and interests in language arts. Students will have a weekly homework assignment based on what we covered in class, ranging from grammar exercises to revisions of writing assignments, on which they will receive personalized feedback.

Teacher Introduction 老师简介 Cynthia is sophomore at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill majoring in Media and Journalism and French and minoring in Creative Writing. She received a full score on the ACT reading and writing sections and the AP English Language and Composition exam. She has been an avid writer since elementary school, and her interest in English has proved to be highly valuable across a variety of disciplines. She is looking forward to improving her students’ English skill sets while encouraging them to actively and confidently engage with English writing.
